What is Unequaled Love?
This Week's Question is... What is an unequaled love experience?
The purpose of this discussion and ongoing articles (thoughts) is to explore the difference between a love relationship that is based on lust and one that is built on trust and admiration for each other, and how to identify those differences. I can only imagine what will be discovered.
I will assume for this discussion that a large segment of P2L members are in search of that special someone to complement their life and likewise, complement their mate... which leads me into the question of today: What is an Unequaled Love Experience.
Notice I boldly use the word "experience" as I subscribe to the belief that love is more than an emotional stirring, and the degree of love is measure by the experiences one encounters when in love.
For discussion, I submit that love resides on a few different levels of intimacies and with differing intensities for each level and the degree of intensity grows over time when promoted with purpose.
As the subject, I offer my own beliefs and open for your comments as well.
I believe love is an adventure that starts of course with friendship and for a lasting relationship to evolve, a friendship must be established on a solid foundation on three levels of intimacy.
You must have a relentless desire for intimacy on three levels: intellectual and emotional for friendships (the foundation to build upon) and then to work towards a loving and sexual relationship through the intimacy of sensuality.
You must build and promote an existance where both can open up and let themselves go and once their secrets are out, to be loved even more, and to protect and encourage with an earnest desire to honor this freedom of expression.
What's most important is that you have the trust and confidence to feel free to abandon your inhibitions and express the tenderness, the affection, and the passion that you have deep within waiting to be unleashed and cherished, and both parties must cherish this existance to survive the challenges that will introduce themselves as treasures to be discovered throughout a relationship.
When it comes to sex you must truly appreciate the erotic, and enjoy pleasuring one another. You must value the sweetness and tenderness of every sensual moment as a rare gift, and nothing is forbidden except for unconsented pain.
You must long to create an experience of loving which shakes the foundation of the world, to be engulfed in pleasures that causes the Soul to scream with complete satisfaction and surrender, and that must be the goal each day no matter what the day may have unfolded.
Love requires daily attention and care or it will soon die.
Love is a daily adventure to be created, romanced, and cherished and the challenges of today are presented as tests to see how well you respect the delicate care and attention love requires.
Never forget to express your love to be loved in return, not matter how you feel.
Love will brighten any day and if you don't believe it, try to live without it.
